A school safety organization equipping parents, educators, and students with the tools for identity, resilience, and safety — starting in Utah.
↓ Learn MoreShield USA exists to prevent violence in schools by equipping communities with tools for identity, resilience, and safety.
Many initiatives focus exclusively on physical security without addressing the underlying causes of violence. Others emphasize mental health while neglecting physical vulnerabilities. Shield USA closes that gap with a single, cohesive framework.
Integrated layers — physical security, prevention, and preparedness — working together rather than in isolation.
A structured model that begins with the physical environment and works inward to address social, behavioral, and response factors.
Pilot operations begin in Utah — a state that has already invested in Phase 1 school safety infrastructure — before expanding nationally.
Political alignment. Shield USA is strictly nonpartisan. This work is about keeping kids safe — nothing else.
Shield USA secures the physical environment first, then addresses social and behavioral prevention, then prepares communities to respond effectively when it matters most.
Education around existing security infrastructure — deterrents, access control, and communication systems working in layers.
Education on identity, belonging, and early warning signs — giving parents and educators the tools to intervene before violence occurs.
Civilian response education aligned with nationally recognized standards — calm, practical, and structured for high-stress situations.
All presentations are non-fear-based, evidence-informed, and designed for civilian audiences. Shield USA does not replace law enforcement, EMS, or security contractors.
A 60–90 minute presentation for parents, educators, and administrators. Covers prevention, awareness, resilience, and response in a practical, non-alarmist format.
60–90 Min · Schools & PTAsSmaller group sessions focused on civilian response, bleeding control, and communication during emergencies. Delivered following completion of all certifications.
Small Group · Hands-OnGuidance on aligning prevention education with existing school safety infrastructure. Consultative, not operational — no enforcement authority.
Districts · AdministratorsShield USA is led by a founder with a multidisciplinary background in criminal justice, psychology, emergency response, and public safety communications.
With three years as an Emergency Dispatcher for Utah County and direct experience handling high-risk, high-stress emergency calls, the Shield USA framework is built on real-world understanding of how emergencies unfold — and how communities can be better prepared.
Shield USA operates strictly within an educational and preparedness role. All instruction aligns with state and federal guidance and emphasizes civilian-appropriate actions.
"Shield USA is designed to become a nationally recognized framework for prevention-focused safety education. Schools are the starting point. Communities are the long-term outcome."
